Kayak Fishing 9/26/17

Jack, Tim and I launched our kayaks at 8 am.  I brought squid for us and Tim bought sardines for us to share.  The hot scoup from the receiver was to go out to the barber poles and fish 110 feet deep for halibut.  My first two drifts I got bit.  The first popped off and the second one I released.  It was 24 inches long.  Lots of scraped baits came back but no more bites.

I traveled 7 miles in all.  It was a perfect day on the water.  Less than 5 knots of wind, 66 degree water and sunny.  We returned around 1 pm, cleaned up my gear and kayak then headed home.
